CHILD PROTECTION ISSUES
The Club take the issue of Child Protection very seriously and are required to take certain steps when engaging with youngsters in the sporting environment to ensure as far as possible that children attending the Club are safeguarded from any form of abuse whatsoever.
All of the Club Coaching staff have attended an appropriate training course and work to the NSPCC guidelines.
Buckie Cricket Club is registered with Disclosure Scotland which means the Coaching staff have been vetted to a degree by the Police and are clear to work with children.
If this is a concern to any parent then feel free to discuss the matter with any of the Coaching staff.
Full details of Club Policies are available in the Pavilion and/or on request.
BUCKIE CRICKET CLUB POLICY ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE
Buckie Cricket Club aims to ensure that any vulnerable people, whether children, young people or vulnerable adults, are protected and kept safe from harm while they are with staff and volunteers in this organisation. In order to achieve this we will ensure our staff and volunteers are carefully selected, screened, trained and supervised.
USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO RECORDINGS
Where possible, photographs or video recordings will not be madewithout the consent of the child, their parent or guardian.
The use of video equipment is invaluable as a coaching tool and this method is occasionally used at Buckie Cricket Club. Similarly, photographs are used for publicity purposes of the Club and may feature in the local press and this website.
Buckie Cricket Club will take all reasonable measures to ensure that these images are used solely for the purpose for which they were intended. If you become aware that any images are being used inappropriately you should inform the Club immediately.
Buckie Cricket Club reserves the right at all times to prohibit the use of photography or video recording at any activity involving children with which it is associated.
